Senior
Engineer
For the past
twenty-two years, Richard Riedel has designed
audiovisual systems for corporate conference rooms, educational performance
spaces, houses of worship, and large scale sports venues.
Rich has designed and project managed systems for Aqueduct Raceway,
Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium, and Madison Square Garden. His designs have been
featured in numerous trade publications.
Rich has been a technical theatre instructor at the
secondary school level and an independent audio mixer for theatrical films and
television commercials. Together
with his degree in Communications Arts from New York Institute of Technology,
Old Westbury, Rich’s background has given him extensive first-hand expertise
in production techniques and systems operation.
Rich was called upon to direct video tapings of the
Adelphi College lecture series featuring a wide range of guest speakers
including Mikhail Gorbachev, George Stephanopoulos, Shimon Peres, Joe Torre, and
Frank McCourt.
Prior to consulting, Rich was a theatre project designer
and head of the sales department of a national theatrical equipment supply
company.
Rich is a member of the Audio Engineering Society,
The
International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and The Acoustical Society
of America.
